Is RamReaper safe to use on a production workstation?
Review the target process and save your work before taking action. Selected process actions check process identity and protect critical system processes.
Does RamReaper require Administrator privileges?
Ordinary scanning runs in user mode. Windows may request elevated permissions for protected processes or kernel diagnostics. Kernel Pool inspection helps you investigate without changing driver configuration.
Does RamReaper phone home or collect telemetry?
Zero telemetry. There are no tracking scripts, analytics SDKs, or outbound network calls. RamReaper functions 100% offline. License keys are cryptographically verified locally on your computer with Ed25519 signatures.
Does Kernel Pool inspection change my drivers?
Kernel Pool diagnostics help you review tags and candidate driver matches. Driver configuration stays under your control; follow vendor guidance when making system changes.
What if multiple drivers contain the leaking pool tag?
RamReaper scans all loaded third-party driver binaries and lists every candidate containing the tag bytes. A tag match is only a candidate, not proof of responsibility. Confirm the cause with vendor guidance and additional diagnostics before changing a driver.
Does it work on laptops and battery power?
